Homework

Students will bring home a red folder each night.  We have designed a large pirate envelope to hold a book and red folder.  The red folder holds important pages that we want to be sure you have throughout the year. Each night your child will receive a math page or two according to the classwork assigned. The reverse side of the pages are labeled homework.  The math homework will come home each night and be checked first thing in the morning.  Please have your child write his/her name neatly on the name line and monitor that the homework is completed each night.

A second piece of homework will be to read aloud to your child.  An envelope with a book inside will come home each night.  Please read the book out loud and return the pouch the next day. Homework will upgrade after this special event (BTSN). Spelling words will begin to come home on September 24.  Unit assignments will also be assigned so please watch the online posts and weekly newsletters.

 What we Do

Our job is hard work.  Each day focus on becoming life long learners.  We collaborate and study religion, reading, math, handwriting, science, technology, the arts and engineering. Prepare your child each day with a hearty breakfast, plenty of sleep and a fixed routine.

You can do things I cannot;
Together we can do great things.”
